They don't buzz and they come with the correct parts for my RD2 at least... You just have to modify the flange and the holes are slightly smaller.

The JDMMotors header comes in 2 pieces, the header goes down 4-2-1 then turns backwards and stops. The other piece connects directly to the stock exhaust in the precise location.

So you're saying the header for the RD1 has just one sensor port on the header? The RD-2 has 2? That's interesting and I didn't know that. Is that because the manifold for the RD1 does not have a catalytic converter

wait.. that dosn't make sence.. the RD-1 I saw at the junk yard 3 days ago had a sensor up top and one below the cat. That header with just 1 sensor port at the bottom must be designed for sensor relocation

as for the o2 sensors, the aftermarket cheap headers that are made for our cars idiot, not the stock ones.. some of the downpipes have a 02 location some don't.

so, your eclipse header, minus the flange thing bolted directly up to our downpipe.. so you have no aftermarket downpipe.. just the header part of it?

and you may not thinkg yours buzz, but i bet they do. nana.gif all the cheap ebay headers for pretty much any car are made from same material. the reason they buzz is cuz the thin material.. im sure you dont have some super JDM headers that are made from high quality materials.

point is, all the cheap ebay headers for the most part, including your jdm yO stuff are the same quality materials.. all thin steel. even if they AREN'T made by the same manufacturer (which they probably are) they will all still buzz. why will they still buzz.. the thin steel construction.

why do the headers like maintec NOT buzz? take a WILD guess.. they are like 8 guage steel instead of 16 guage....

^^ Maybe they do buzz. I don't notice it. I spend alot of time in my engine. The only time I've heard anything remotely close to what I'd describe as a buzz is when I start my car on a really cold morning. The engine sounds high pitched and somewhat describable as "buzzy" I am under the impression that I need a new chromolly exhaust port gasket though.

They do come with a downpipe. I have a downpipe on mine.

Here's some different brands. I don't know the differences between them, but I can see them from the pix. So it stands to reason they may be different manufacturers.

4-2-1
Cyl 2&3 to the left and no top o2

CYL 2&3 to the right no top o2

maybe it's just my eyes, but these look different for some reason. Much cheaper looking.

I can't find the ones I bought. They had a top o2 port on cyl4 so that you could drive until you relocated the sensor. I can't find any 4-1 headers on there anymore for our cars. I'm not saying that they're quality headers on ebay. I'm saying that not all headers are made by SSAutochrap.

theres word of it.. but i wouldn't take it as reliable.

a quick look into the past and you will see its mostly filled with false promises, missing money, years of waiting.

and these 'ebay' chinese headers will really never be put to shame. and this is because they are the CHEAPEST way to get a nice looking, nice performing header. there nothing else that will compare to the hp/cost/looks ratio of these headers.
