I really don't understand why you use 91 or 94 for that matter anyhow? From what I remember you don't even have a 1/4 of the mods necc. for you to run even 91....

LOL, first tib world wide that calls for 91. Can you ship me your autograph?
Also, go check your code than see if they relate or not. How is anyone here suppose to know what troubles your having when we have no idea anything about your car. Running 94 in a stock car does absolutely nothing but maybe a drop in fuel millage. So maybe the codes are related...or maybe your car is telling you to go back to 87.

my g/f put 87 in my car once and it ran like crap... it felt like misfire almost.
i fueled on 94 because aparantly running higher octane cleans your fuel system so i figured i would give it a go!

lol....using 94 doesn't 'clean' your fuel system. Also if your car runs like poop on 87, you need a tune up as it shouldn't come even close to misfire when your motor is relatively stock. Anyhow use what ever fuel you want if you think it makes a difference just post back with the code you got.

Higher octane fuel does not clean your fuel system. Use the appropriate fuel. My car requres higher octane fuel to run nitrous. You will get less fuel economy, lower power, and your emissions will be dirty. Higher octane fuel is used to prevent detonation. It is more difficult for the engine to burn. It tends to burn quieter but it's not appropriate for your car and will damage your catalytic converter over time.

could be. haha.gif haha.gif haha.gif haha.gif
and yeah, put 87 in the car, absolutely NO POINT to put anything over that in a stock tib.
and if you are having trouble with 87 in the car, get your car fixed, cuz you have other issues. putting higher grade fuel in would just be hiding the problem with your car and making the issue worse.

Hey man get that code checked. Oddly enough the same thing happened to me.
I know about adding a higher octane fuel but I was way to curious on how my rig would perform on 94. Plus I can't get it were I am, so I deemed it research lol.
Anyways I got an evap code when I was running it. Fuel gauge took a dump, fuel sending unit sensor was on the fritz it seemed. I couldn't get an accurate reading when I cleared the ecu either.
So yea now I'm back to 89 octane lol.
LOL yea make sure yer gas cap is tight too, man thats farkin anoying with newer vehicles.
