i have a 2.5" catback. I had mine custom done at a shop in my area for $200. Awesome tone and pickup. I love it. This is another outlet to get a catback.

 

i have a muffler on now wich sounds damn good for a muffler but no power, could i possibly just get a straight pipe or the pipes for the cat?

 

one other ?. are the catbacks on ebay easy to install or does it require modifications?

 

is any of this affected if you've got the funky california exhaust with the 2 cats?

you can remove the 2nd cat,... but if you get headers you will end up removing the 1st cat too, this will cause a CEL

if your planning to stay with the stock headers,... feel free to remove the 2nd cat

the cat backs on ebay are bolt ons

if they dont align right,... you will have to go to an exhaust shop to have them installed (not expensive though)

What is effected???
Most tibbies in the US have 2 cats,... the only thing is that CA has strict pollution levels
So if you remove a cat,... you will not pass the smog check
