Default catback... or header back?

What do you think would be better for my car? I have a CAI and OBX header installed already. I am getting the pipes done at a shop, along with a catco hi-flow cat and a magnaflow single in/dual out muffler (for my cuda kit). Should i just do catback or from the header back?

Thanks

Catback suggests that you actually HAVE a catalytic converter, which is (at least partially) incorrect if you have a header.

If you actually DO have the header, then replace the entire exhaust and do it right.

Ditto. If you have headers you should install the Cat and have two ends coming out after the cat. All in all you should do it right the first time.

hmm.. maybe you misunderstood my question.. or i am misunderstanding your responses.. I have a 01 Tib.. so i have/had two cats (lost one when i installed my header). so it goes like this

Block-- header---- pipe--- cat--- pipe--- muffler

I am basically asking if i should leave the pipe between the header and cat stock diameter, or should i get new pipe the same diameter as from the cat back?

Or another way of putting it.. should my exhaust from my header back be the same diameter, instead of only being a bigger diameter from the cat back?

most, if not all, headers are bigger than that of the stock pipes. So, to answer your question, go with all the same dia. as the headers all the way down the the muffler. I mean, it just makes sense to have all the pipes dia. the same or putting the headers just defeats the purpose of putting one in on the first place.

Well said.......you dont want any restrictive parts on you exhaust system (well, not more than there needs to be)
