Default cai in winter

I am using the Random special and was wondering if I should take it out before it snows? If so would I do better, just putting the factory air box back in. Thanks for the help.

if you have it in the fenderwell... i dont think it would do any harm

its not like it can suck up snow...

If you had a turbo... then we might worry a bit...
but NA cars really dont have much to worry unless it REALLY rains...

you might want to let the car idle a bit to warm up a little so that if there is any ice in the filter or sutch it won't break of and get sucked into your engine. Although this may not be a issue. I found alot of frost on my K&N this morning and it did concern me a bit.

But you shouldn't have too mutch trouble that i know of.
