Meh, I have the AEM Cai and I live in Calgary and drive all year with it...

I'm not concerned about snow and slush in the least....

Something you may not know is that the install location in the tib is in the bumper, and it is nicely protected from direct splashes by the plastic splashguards.. you will have to cut a notch in your splashguard for the pipe, but the filter itself is shielded. you'll understand when you install it smile.gif

never get the bypass filter man. worste mistake i ever made. i've never heard of that hydrovover thing, but it looks like it could be a great solution, however it would restrict a lot of airflow.

just get a cold air intake. if the filter gets wet it's no problem you just don't want to drive around splashes and floods where your entire intake can get submerged in water.

i need to do something about my filter too, the wet debris leads to dirt, so yeah that hydrocover thing might be a good rescue.

you can get AEM intakes from swervemotorsports user on ebay for like $85.
