Default A/C blowing warm air

Last night I turned my A/C on and it started blowing warm air and making a weird ticking sound. I checked my belts and everything seems fine. The car has never had any type of a re-charge, so do you think this could be the issue? If its just a recharge, how much do those usually cost?

If it's ticking every second or two, That may be your compressor clutch kicking in and out. That happens when the coolant gets low and the pressure drops. Recharge fixes it... if that's what the ticking is.

In the freer States, you can buy a recharge bottle with a instructions and a gauge right on the can, for not too many dollars. DIY and save huge.
