Default Braided hose kits

Anybody have these in their car? Do they turn color after awhile from the engine heat or do they seem to hold up really well?

Stainless has to get freaking HOT before it will discolor from heat. Grime, maybe but not heat.

meh, don't waste your time. if you want pretty just get some liquid wrench silicone spray and clean your OEM hoses or go silicon hoses. using these covers will make it hard to find out if you have a hose leak or not. they will unravel in time and the colored nuts on the ends are just anodized slip on covers, not a actual nut.

my car had them on there when i bought them. along with the blue loom the prior owner installed that was the first two things that were deleted when i got into my engine bay.
