bored throttle body vs. BBTB????
is there a difference (pros/cons) to having a bored out throttle body vs. a big bore throttle body such as the one SR offers. and what is a good bore size??? i see that the SR one offers like 56-58mm and 59-61mm. i plan on eventually running crazy boost (wanting 300-350whp) what kind of throttle body set up is recommened for such a turbo application??? thanks

Either one is good really.
The SR unit is a little bigger, and looks MUCH nicer than a bored OEM unit.
BUT...the with the bored OEM unit...your car LOOKS stock... *evil grin*.... Till you get the turbo installed anyway.

I sent my TB and IM to OnPol in Puerto Rico.
It took 1 week to get them back, but I paid for 2 day shipping. Usual turn around is about 2 weeks including shipping time.
Contact OnPol for exact details and his timeline.

Onpol does a good job, Elantra tech ( if you can get a hold of him ) will sell you a bored TB ( you keep your old one ). This is useful if you have a 2001+ Elantra since it's TB is different and no one has yet to make one for it. Don't forget you need to do the intake manidolf or at least port the opening for it to get gains.
