I still want to do it...Do you know what the "box" is made from? I will attempt to create my own..And just got buy a K&N filter to fit...This way I can make my own piping....There is enough room to do it...you just have to be tricky about it...

Yeah, remember one point made on the other board, that thing is right at the front of your car, if you run into the back of another car, or somebody else backs into you and the filter gets knocked off/cut/etc, you instantly start taking debree into your engine.

Not to mention rock, truck retreads, small animals, etc hitting it. It be ok for the track i'd think, but you will still get more air flow from a cone i think, esp if you made a intake where you replace your headlight with the filter (for the track only, of course wink.gif )
