How much horsepower is the Bim/Btb good for?

Yamanko showed a "peak" gain of 3.5 Hp and 3.7 Torque (going from memory here...I gotta dig out his dyno's), but from 3500 on up there was an increase in HP and torque.

My guess is that below 3500 RPM, the TB/IM is not a restriction

is there an mod besides super or turbo that will give you significant hpr?

Per the tests that Bat Lord did, Headers and full exahust were hi's biggest gains.

since this topic has been bought up again.
would it be better to buy the BBTB from sharkracing or have the stock one bored out from Onpol, i am just looking for some opinions,

Depends on who you want to support more. I prefer going with the SR one because it's more custom, IMO. AND you don't have to wait around for Onpol to bore one out and send it to you. SR has theirs in stock and ready to go. wink.gif

Also the stock one can only be bored out to 58mm. The Barney TB is adjustable out to 61mm.

so in theory bim/bbtb/btb/421 headers and exhaust should be good for 15-20 hpr....right

The barney can go 61mm but you can only bore your manifold to 58mm .
