Better heads?
After hearing about how the Beta 1 head flows poorly even after porting/polishing, I started to wonder if it would be possible to make a better flowing head for our engines? Is it possible to redesign the head in order to increase performance?
Sorry if this sounds like a newbie question, this is something I don't know alot about.

your talking about a lot of cash in R&D work.. A LOT..
It would be best to experiment with the newer CVVT heads. They have a very similar design, but its a new cast, so theres some slight hope.

Has anyone (Jaws021 especially) tried the BetaII head on the BetaI?? Cause honestly with all these aftermarket companies around maybe we can get some R&D on a decent head.
Right now I am extremely poor, but I think I might want to take this on for a winter project.

there is a shop here in southern california (mantaray motorsport, is their name, i think) that sells bullfrog head packages. which includes bigger IM, TB, better flowing head, and cams. i think the head packages are made by gude.
i tried to contact the shop by e-mail and never gotta reply.
