Default Beta head cross section

So a few years back I saw a picture of a Beta head that someone took and cut in half for a cross section image. Does anyone have this floating around anywhere? I've been trying to find it again but not with much luck.

Thanks.

I also remember seeing a Beta 1 Cutaway somewhere. According to Stocker's cylinder head p&p thread, Visions and Random have the cutaway pictures.

Edit, found some, not great pictures though.

Probably not helpful, but here's a cutaway of a Beta 2 cvvt head, with much better pictures.

Awesome, thanks. The first pic was the one I was looking for!

My poor, neglected cylinder head thread. Looking at the photos, it makes me think I must have gone halfway through the thickness on the short side radius on the exhaust ports. Running NA that should be fine, but I'd worry about how much heat would go through if I were to ever go turbocharged.

I really must finish that project. It's still waiting on valves and gaskets, the rest is ready to go. Stupid LIFE keeps interfering with bills and groceries and whatnot.

I haven't forgotten about the valves for you Stocker. Need to confirm they are straight first.

Sitting here on my bed, I laughed right out loud. You're right on schedule, just like the rest of the project! Truth be told, I'd probably go ahead and buy them anyway but it'll be a ... day or two ... or more... before the funds are pried out of my 'huge pile' of monopoly money. It could be amusing and educational to go ahead and test them for straightness for real, but it's not a rush job

I can hardly believe it's taken so long.
