Well I know that it is possible to swap a beta2 tranny into my beta1. I was just wondering about thier auto trannys. Are they better than ours? becuase its not worth the swap if they arent much better than the beta1. Is any ecu/rewiring needed? I dont think so, but Im just asking. Keeping it auto, not manual so dont post about what you want me to do lol. Any advice or help would be appreciated!

Well, never heard of a Beta I auto to Beta II auto swap, but I'd assume its possible.

I believe they are better. Dvanderk has been running it turbocharged for quite some time now with no issues.

Thanks. I found one from a 04 cheap. And was just wondering if its possible

bump kinda....Id still like some advice becuase a stronger tranny is easier to work with. And as we all know the beta1 auto isnt the best, but a beta2 is made to hold more power in which case boosting is alot simpler

never took that into consideration, id imagine you could, but thats not the main reason id do it. Id just feel more comfortable with an auto tranny thats more boost friendly.
