does anyone know what parts from the beta 2 engine that will swap over to the beta 1

it is basically the same engine save for a few differences.

Fuel Injection.. it is MAP instead of MAF.. you can use your injection on a beta 2

The head has solid lifters with shims instead of HLAs

The later versions (beta2.5?) have that variable cam thing.. that does not work with our cars.

The Beta I's have an oil restrictor in the block whereas the Beta II's don't.

Most of the sensors are different too, but can be swapped.

And that is good? (Being that the Beta II is newer I supose it's something they improved or corrected right?)

I also read something about returnless fuel sistem; hence it's more difficult to tune it heavily?

the restrictor is there for the lifters,not related to the rotating assembly

people are getting around the returnless fuel system.. but really, that is all part of the Fuel injection system and is not exactly a backyard job for a swap..
