Default Best way to polish stock intake manifold

Ive seen people polish their IMs to a mirror chrome-like shine. How do they do it? Mine has an old steel grey look to it.

lot of time on there hands

you have to attack it with lots of sand paper to get rid of the sand cast marks
then hit it with even more sanding to reduce the visual effect of the sand roughened surface
then u hit it with a big ass buffer and lots of polishing compound
