Default Best Quiet Exhaust Setup

Ok i have a 1998 hyundai elantra with obx headers to straight pipes to a ebay fart can lol, soon to be changed due to my turbo build and the fact cops pull me over even if they see me, harrasement much? well i have to redo the piping to 2.5 inch anyways, im planning on running a magnaflow cat, followed by some type of resonator, followed by a megan racing muffler or a ws2 apexi, does this sound like a quiet nice sounding exhaust?

any cylindrical style muffler is gonna be loud

get yourself a NORMAL style muffler

in my j2 before the current setup i had a REAL obx header, thrush turbo glasspack, carsound cat, and a dynomax super turbo muffler.

would be pretty quiet until i really got on it

my current setup has the best muffler ever- a turbo

goes turbo-3.5" downpipe-tiny ass spun cat converter-3" over axle to a dynomax ultra flo (in a flow test the ultra flo pushed somethin like 20cfm less than a piece of straight pipe, but was able to lower dbs by like 40)

still louder than my old setup, but shouldnt give me any hassle from the po-pos

Once you get the turbo installed, that will help a little.

Turbo and a Cat is all you will want and need, alteast with that muffler, no need for a resanator, you wont get rasp with a turbo.... turbo is really all the "Muffler" you need, I am 3" turbo back no muffler just straight pipe, and never get harrasend, the cops dont mind it, they hate the Honda boys though...
