Default Benefits to double filter on intake?

Hi i was wondering if there are any major benefits to having a double filter intake? I know theres a double intake available for accents (i think rpw has or had them). but what if i made my own intake, with a y pipe and put 2 filters on. Would there be any increase in performance since the engine can suck in twice as much air or wouldnt it matter because our engines are so small and would only still bring in the same amount of air as a single filtered intake?

kind of like this but not that exact design.

your car will never suck the amount of air needed to justify a dual intake

^ Exactly! You generally see those types of set ups on the bigger V6's and V8's.

i put one on my camaro (1984 with a 1989 5.7l l69).
i swapped from the std 14" summit round cleaner to the twin filter setup and i never noticed a differance.

whether a single or dual filter your engine will be sucking in the same amount of air. so a dual filter intake is pretty much useless unless for maybe aesthetics...but on a hyundai i dont think one would look good or even fit right...

a waste of money in my opinion
