I was checking out the BBTB's on K-spec. They look prettty sweet. I am wondering why would they give you inserts for 59 and 61mm ? What are the benifits of using one or the other? I realize that there will be more air/fuel put into the engine equaling more power, but just how much? enough to feel it?

Default speaker grills

I read in the forums that you will feel the gain mostly at high RPMs. People who have this mod are happy with it. I was considering buying it but still out my price range, although I will be pretty interested in a group buy (if the price is right).

Hey, hey, good idea on the group buy.
How much work is it to bore out the IM ? are we talking about taking it to a machine shop or will a dremmel work?

You probably could bore the IM with a dremel if you are really carefull. I haven't done this mod yet, so I am not sure about the thickness of the metal. However, you will have to take the IM off your car, which I have heard can be a b!tch without the right tools, as you don't want the metal shavings to go into your cylinders. Since you are taking it off the car anyways, you may as well take it to a machine shop and get it done properly as the cost shouldn't be too much.

My friend bored out his IM on his eclipse with his dremel, he just stuffed a rag in the manifold and it caught all the shavings, he also did it while the manifold was on the car.
