Default Barney Throttle Body

I bought a Barney Throttle Body for my 2001 Elantra. It doesnt seem to fit. Two problems: Two rubber tubes running into the bottom of the TB and they look like they have nothing to do with it. Also the throttle cables are to short and hold the TB open. Can I adjust things or should I send it back?

the two lines you speak of are coolant lines...take a screw and plug them...unnescessary, second adjust your throttle cable accordingly....it should fit fine....good luck!

No no no... don't plug the coolant lines. Just take one of them an re-route it onto the other to form a loop, the coolant lines just heat the TB (bad thing for preformance) do a search and you will find this and alot of other info that has been heavly covered.
