Default Bad to drive with a misfire?

Got a misfire in cylinder #2 this morning driving to work. Thankfully I was able to use my friends code scanner in his car and find out I just need new plugs and wires (its been about 3 years since I changed them last).

Nearest auto parts place is about 25 miles away. I can take the back roads so its not a constant stop and go, but how bad is it for the engine if I drive there with it misfiring and running only on 3 cylinders? I would change the plugs and wires in the parking lot before driving home.

I would drive there as long as the misfire isn't constant.

It probably won't hurt anything, but your nerves will be shot by the end of the trip.
