I think my clutch is on the way out. Probably well over 150k on it but im not sure since I've only had the car a couple of months. But I am noticing a loss in power to my wheels. When I shift up or down as I give it gas it loses rpm then jump up back to driving speed Its really iritating. Do you guys think its the clutch or something else? In another clutch thread hamhead said watch for a jump but im not sure if thats what they ment.

Should I go stage 2 or stock? Remember I am new to stick so I need the best durability!!

Bump since i just split it.

im not sure what you mean, are you saying when your foot is holding the clutch down the rpm's drop and then when you release the clutch the rpm's jump back up?

a jump means that the rpms just jump up rapidly then fall down meaning that the clutch slipped

best way to tell is to get to 5th gear and punch it. if your rpm fly up and your speed up slowly then bad clutch... 02.gif

I just had to much power for the damn clutch and it wouldnt grab 1st very well when i was launching.

Yeah 5th gear test is the best test without torturing the clutch or trannsmission.

By the way.. Is that a Canadian accent you have there? ya?
