Automatic RPM Stall

Automatic RPM Stall
What do i have to do to change my stall in my automatic tiburon. When I race I have to power brake it at the light. When I do this it stalls at 2500RPM and I want to change it so I stall at around 5000-6000RPM. This way I can get a better launch. Also I s there any way I can make my car change gears faster. I raced an 97 Eclipse RS this mornig at around 4:30 AM and we went from a red light. He was manual and I am automatic. I got my ass kicked by about 1/4 car length, maybe a little less. I want to beable to kick some manual ass when I race. The only mods that I have on my car at this point are a perfomance muffler and a CAI from KORE. Please someone help me so I can kick this Eclipses ass the next time I see him. Thanks

Last time I talked to these people, they didn't have any Tib applications yet, although they claimed that some were under design. Please post if you get positive word from them that they have stuff for the Tib now...in particular a Shiftronic.

The shift-tronic application will only get developed for the Tibby/elantra if someone goes to them and pays for it. They would need an R&D vehicle...so the first guy is the guinnia pig!
They do generic transmission upgrading, in addition to their model specific work. If you ship them a Hyundai tranny, they will be able to alter the torque converter/tranny properties (within reason).

Im definately down for that. I'd love to drop it off for a while...just as long as they kept it nice. It would be a bit of a drive from Indy, but I am definately down for it. Maybe I'll give them a call tomorrow. At least I'll be the first tibby with a shiftronic...errr I think...
