I think you should go for it. I had one on my 2000 5-speed Elantra for over a year and had no problems with it at all. I live in the Seattle area (lots of rain) and never had any water issues. The intake also looked great in the engine bay and sounded great when accelerating! A drunk driver totalled my sweet little Elantra though about a month ago, so now I own the new Tib GT v6 6-speed package 3

I have a 98 SE auto with the AOS intake and love it. Definately worth the purchase. I thought about waiting for some of the others, but for the money it is one of the best upgrades you can do. Looks great, sounds great and makes power

i have a 97 auto tib fx (2.0L) and i have the aos intake only because its the only one that will fit my car i have a revesion A tib that canister is in my fender well but it works good i have has no problems but you might want to wait for sr's or kore's because if the filter is in the fender well it will get colder air and better air flow to the filter then the aos can get so get it for now but switch it later when the others come out

i have one. I like it and bought it since at the time it it the cheapest one on the market that I can get a hold of. Now that sr is coming up with one, i might just switch. not that there is anything wrong with AOS
