Hey guys. A Hyundai Timing belt cost $75.00. There are aftermarket ones at Advance Auto parts for $30.00-$55.00.

Is anyone using an aftermarket timing belt? If so, which ones and how many miles are you on the timing belt?

I had aftermarket timing belt, it had 37K miles on it. It had so f****** many cracks on it. Remember my thread about timing belt change? Look for it.

BTW, I bought OEM Hyundai timing belt for $38

BTW2 OEM Hyundai belt is made by Gates belts. So you can buy Gates.

well, you can always talk to Kspec or Mad-John to get a factory timing belt for cheaper than the dealer..

unless the dealer was selling you a package that also includes the timing belt tensioner. Then $75 is a good price.
