The idiot on EBAY:
What kinda boost am i going to get with something like this? Well, a t-3 turbo puts out a max of 650cfm(cubic feet per minute) and thats at top spool. This turbo puts out upto 600 cfm at half the spool up time and a 10th of the cost.
Dont get suckered in by other sellers of Cheep inline blowers that offer 150cfm 3* blowers, This blower is fully capable of pushing 160 to 180cfm depending on the filter used.
Ok It does not mater how much cfm you put into the engine. It matters how much psi the vane pump (turbo) can put out. You can give the engine all the cfm you want, if the pump dies out at like 1psi it will not pump out that kind of cfm. There is more to it and has been covered here before. But really do you think these little electric fan can pressurize a 3* pipe with 5psi? This is what would be needed to at least get the gains they are advrtising. What kinda boost am i going to get with something like this? The flow rate on these things are with no resistance on either end of the *pump*. if the pressure on the outlet goes down so will the cfm's. and your IM creates a vaccum. It is not atmospheric pressure (which is what these things are rated at). so figure 15* vaccum is 15 times less than atmospheric pressure. so you can devide that cfm by 15. thats what it will now be rated for. You are lucky to even get 1psi out of these stupid fans oh I mean (electronic turbo's) smile.gif
