Are there any ways to patch oil pan without dropping it?

Hole the size of a quarter.

Some people have used jbweld with a few bad results

What's wrong with taking it off? It's easy. A small 10mm socket with a long skinny extension fits between the pan and the tranny to get to the hard ones.
Have a welder patch it up with a plate.
Then put it back together with high temp silicone.

take time to do it right at the first time.

i know taking off the oil pan is very time consuming but that will yield a more realiable result.

if you drill a hole from the outside of the pan without dropping it, you won't be able to seal it properly from the inside and you wont be able to clean up the metal fillings inside the pan
