Any one dyno the AOS intake?
I wish Speedstate would just dyno the thing. I've been asking Steven for about a year and no response besides for we're getting to it.
If AEM is posting some real numbers and Speedstate won't come up with anything, then I'm just gonna get rid of the AOS intake and grab an AEM, KORE, or SR one. Honestly, I love Speedstate, they're in canada and have a lot of products, but a simple dyno of their parts shouldn't be too much to ask IMHO.

Hence my pointing to AEM dynos. Plus I was so excited about getting my AEM, i had to tell everyone about it.
Don't get mad at people talking about other intakes than the AOS, he asked for the others too.
In any case. Any intake will produce more power. Whether it's 2 HP or 10 HP, it's still better than stock. It's all a matter of preference on what "style" you want.
No one seems to be able to come up with numbers on the AOS though.
Tell you one thing. AOS is alot easier to install. Takes all of 10 minutes. AEM takes about an hour to install because of wheelwell plastic removal and all..

This topic is about the AOS INTAKE, not the AEM INTAKE or the WEAPON R INTAKE! Thank you
Jaws, I'll point you back to his very first post:

Wow did this get a little more out of hand than I thought it would. I have the AOS intake and I have felt a gain from it, not 12 whp like the AEM is supposed to give, but probably more than 2 whp. I am thinking more like 5 or so. As for the whole warm air intake thing, it is a hell of alot better than a cone on the mafs, but doesn't pull in AS cold of air as the fenderwell design. Shielding the AOS intake from the rest of the engine bay would do quite a bit of good. The bottom line is heat radiates from hot to cold areas and the majority of the difference between the AOS and the AEM intake is that the heat has to radiate through the platsic of the fenderwell and whatever else is blocking it to reach the filter. That is why the fenderwell design draws in cooler air. Besides that there isn't really that big of a debate. Now I know the intake companies spout of resonance tuning and airflow speed but that probably only accounts for 15% to 25% or less of the power increase, the shear amount of air and temp probably account for the other 75% to 85%. I would still like to see that big intake comparo however, just curiosity.
