Well I know where it is coming from, so that's good. I just need to know what's possibly wrong with it... It's circled. It only buzzes when the key is turned all the way, where all the accessories turn on....

Well, I've heard it kind of "whining" before but today it was WAY louder. I could hear it perfectly from outside the car with the hood shut. And when I touched it, the vibrations were pretty bad. I'm stumped as to why it's doing this.... shrug.gif

Well it always vibrates when the key is on... If your not having idle problems then you could probably leave it alone. If it really annoys you, replace it.

I have been having a bit of a rough idle, and it annoys the crap outta me, so I guess I'll be making a trip to the parts car then... again *sigh* I was just there yesterday. What luck.

I'm sure they aren't expensive at all.

Junkyard you'd probably get it near free.

um.. try cleaning it with some seafoam and deep creep first. get it in both holes.

Also, it usually buzzes when it's idling properly on it's spring at about 1/4 open.
