Tomorrow, hopefully I'll be putting on my new AIM. Anyways I got about 30,000 miles on the tib think it would be safe to reuse the AIM gasket?

AIM? AOL instant messanger? or intake manifold im guessing. If you can replace it it shouldnt be too expensive

Wow, very good Air Intake Manifold (you were close though) Anyways I'm in Germany , any part to get for the tib is a pain in the ars, thats why I'm asking, any one know?

Personally, I wouldnt reuse an IM gasket w/ more than a couple hundred miles.. Is not like the exhaust gasket, much more flemsy (sp?) and can be broken easily.. Not only that, its very critical.. If you have the smallest air leak, your car will run like shit!! Get a new one laugh.gif

hmm, well think rtv would work I use it all the time on the v8 manifolds., Oh and to anyone who's done this job before is it a b**** to do, should I be attentive, to anything?

Yeah your injectors are there too, so be careful not to damage them somehow. Get a new gasket. I had to shave my IM cause it twisted, guy said to get a new one no matter what.

Well, did the install today, easier than I thought it would be. And I even reused my gasket and its just fine lol.gif
