hey guys i have another question for you, i ordered a racing short shifter from a pretty well known and well commented on dealer on EBAY, the guy sent me a shifter but it looks nothing like the stock one thats in my 01 tiburon, the shifter i got from EBAY has a round ball on the bottom of it, and it doesnt look like the one thats factory in my car at all, the guy told me that it was right, but i am not dumb, i think this is the wrong shifter, can one of u guys show me a picture of ur EBAY shoft shifter, and what does the picture of like say a 1st gen tiburon look like, cuz i think this is from a first gen thanks for all your help.

i'm not familiar w/ anyone buying an "EBay" short throw shifter. how bout you post pictures of it so we can look at it and figure out whats wrong...

what you should do is sell it back on ebay and try to get your money back. then.... get an RSide Advance!!!

You prolly needed the 97-00 model even though you have a 01 Tibby..

If your shifter looks like the pic I posted, you needed the 97-00 shifter model.

I got a B & M Short Shifter for my 2000 Tib (should be the same as the 2001) off ebay. There are a few well known sellers that sell these on ebay. But it fights right in... You have to replace the whole assy, it's really not that hard. SELF-EXPLANITORY. lol.gif

yea that was the shifter my fiance got me, and it when i got it i tired putting it in, which i havent gotten to it for a wihle because of workin two jobs, but its the wrong one, i contacted the seller and he said that its the right one, have a profesional instal it..and i was like no its the wrong one and i am ASE certified mechanic lol..so who knows where it will go from here...
