Since it is under warranty, try to get them to just give you the new transmission. Sell it on eBay to fund your manual conversion. tongue.gif

dude...new tranny and your getting on it?....NOT GOOD....you have to break that shit in before you go tearing aroudn on it..same with a new engine....just my personal non-mechanic opinion...could very well be something in the tranny get out of your car while it's rattleing and try and look/listen around for the sounds.

could also be sympathetic vibration. When you put the car into gear, you put the engine under load.. even if only a little, that drops the rpms a little and at low rpms, the engine shakes a little more than at high... I know the hood on my tib vibrates a bit at idle.. but if I so much as breath hard on the throttle.. it goes away.

off topic but ....
yeah mine does that too and as soon as i get done with some other things (waiting to go to the dealer on monday to pick up a valve cover gasket...long story) i'm gonna put something in the latch to stop that vibrattion...little things like that annoy the hell out of me...that and the sqeaky rotors.....i just can't take that sqeak...but i'm gonna have to deal till i get $...

back to topic...

You also might want to check your oil level to make sure it isn't your HALs. If you are low top it off and it will go away.
