I'm trying to install my new act clutch kit that I ordered through prostreet online. I ordered the HY1-HDG6 kit that comes with the sprung 6 puck race disc. the problem that im having is that the new disc seems to be too thick for the clutch. Also it doesnt seem to spin around freely like the old one does. The part number of the disc they sent me is 6214104. Is this the right disc? or do i just really have to force it all on there? it seems about a 1/4 inch thicker than my stock disc. Thanks for the help.

Its a 6 puck racing clutch and pressure plate! Dude, its going to have alot more meat on it and alot more clamping force too.

Ya its supposed to be like that. It will sit flush once you bolt it on. Just set it on the tranny, then install the bolts and starting bolting them down a lil bit at a time, goung around in a star pattern.

number on my disc is 6214104 so you got the right one. i'm not sure what you mean by doesn't move freely though, when its fully engaged it shouldn't move at all, if it doesn't release all the way you may need to bleed/adjust the clutch.
