they put the 4g63 in them here in North America too. Hitler also killed a lot of Jews back in the day...doesnt mean you should try it again.

There has NEVER been a 4G63 put into a Tiburon from the factory. If you saw any Tiburons with this engine and tranny, then it was a custom job. It will cost you ALOT of money, time, R&D, and fabrication materials. It not worth it at all. You could a quarter of the amount of money and time you put into doing this, and use that to turbo the already existing engine in your car and actually end up making more power than a 4G63.

Bottom line is, if you want to be different and have alot of money to waste or throw away...then do it. Otherwise, its a VERY stupid idea and you're better off spending money and time in other ways that wont be anywhere near as complicated.

It requires welding a totally different cars subframe onto the Tib, shortening what ever shaft you decide to go with, making custom motor mounts, running stand alone ecu, and trimming/welding a LOT of one-off engine bay bits. It's been done, but costs the price of several boosted betas.

The fact that it's even a question means you haven't researched this option in the slightest.

The 4G63 sits completely different compared to a Hyundai beta engine. People think the the 4G and Beta are the same but they're not one bit. The only Hyundai a 4G will drop into easily is an older Elantra because years ago, Hyundai used Mitsubishi engines and trannys. We know we're talking about when we say its not a smart decision to try and put a 4G in your tib. Its a complete and total waste of money and time. Not to mention, if engineering isnt 100% PERFECT, the structural integrity of the car will not be safe and you'll be driving a death trap.

Save your money and time. Just turbo the beta in a weekend, destroy any 4G out there, and call it a day!
