No common A/C problems that I've heard of, but obviously there could be something wrong with your A/C. I believe it's belt driven so I could see how if something were wrong you'd end up with shaking.

Yeah ^^^ check the belt, worst case scenario is the whole compressor is bad, but that's very unlikely. It's most likely a belt or pulley.

The idle likely needs adjustment. Simple turn of a screw.

i have a 01 and it does the same thing check to see if it does it when you turn the defrost on as well. had the car for almost 3 years. still trying to figure out what it was untill recently when the pulley just stopped turning so yea.

Mine used to do that... I don't really find it to be an extremely horrendous problem. Mine had about similar mileage and it did that.

It probably comes from the power drain from the auxiliary fan kicking on, cause I don't use the A/C fan anymore (My AC fan is setup to turn on when the main fan comes on, not when the A/C button is depressed).

i agree, its just the shitty electrical set up showing itself. if you turn anything on along with the a/c, usually it will vibrate a little.

doubtful, it wont add more amp's. and thats the issue. tibby came with a underpowered alt from the factory, best way to fix it, upgrade the alt...

My car used to do that, until i realized i was overdue for a PCV valve. they cost less then $3 at your local auto parts store. Search for that one on here for more info.
