1100 RPM's idel
id say look @ your throttle cable, maybe it got stuck on something, or maybe something has found its way down there.
when you push on the pedal does it move easily?
id try turning the car off, then stomping on the gas pedal a few times and seeing what happens. if it sticks, and the car starts to rev really high when you start it TURN IT OFF youll probibly need a new throtle cable, could be rust, or deris of some kind, or just a fluke.
good luck (and yeah im a newbie @ this to i may be wrong please correct me (someone))

Most common cause is a stuck throttle cable. If you check yours, and there is not slack in the cable with the car idling, adjust the cable and loosen it a tad. You can also adjust your idle via the screw on the drivers side of the throttlebody...near the bottom by the firewall. Turn towards the passenger compartment to speed up the idle, turn towards the front of the car to lower the idle. ONLY DO THIS WITH THE CAR RUNNING...you need to verify what you have done gets the idle in the right spot.
You can try fuel injector cleaner as well. Much easier on the PITA scale.

On cold startup it will idle a tad higher. Let the engine run for 2-3 minutes, then check it. That is a more accurate time to check your idle level.
