ok guys i have a beta2 in my ride now and i think everything is pretty much smoothed out with the thing now. so now i'm thinking about what to do with my old engine. the thing that really comes to mind for me would be using my 1.8L cam on my new engine.

Now i know that on the beta1 the xd cam would be a upgrade just like the 1.8L cam but now that i have the beta2, would i see any positive gains by swapin in the camshaft?

i know someone in another thread was asking about durations but i dont think he ever found his answer.

I'd suggest seeing what the GK guys do over at NT, since you're running their engine.

The 1.8 cam is a pussy cam compared to the beta 2 stock as far as I know.

The oem beta2 cam has more lift and duration than the 1.8 cam, so you would loose performance with the swap.
