Default 1.8 exhaust manifold

I want to install one of those 1.8 manifolds from Elantra, but here in Europe we have Lantra... And the manifolds are different! Do you think it's worthy of changing from 2.0 mani to the one from Lantra or should I wait till I find from Elantra?

It is the same Beta engine and manifold is the same for 1.6/1.8/2.0 Beta Engine in RD Coupe, Lantra and 2.0 GK Coupe. They maybe look different but they are direct fit to the head!

Main difference is below the car and you will probably have to fit and weld front part of exhaust

I know that , but my question was different

There is a gain in the 1.8 Elantra mani the so called semi header , but wasn't sure about the one from Lantra. I guess I have to try and find out. I bought that manifold so pretty soon it will be installed on my car and will also be dyno tested

So with 1.8 lantra manifold and 2.5 inch stainless steal exhaust system the increase is 10-13 hp. 177-180hp and 218nm.

It is something like tri-y style. I'm very happy that that there is no torque drop. From 3000rpm to 6200rpm its more than 200nm.

Videos and pictures later toaday

dyno or it didn't happen. 180WHP N/A is a number you might get with all the bolt-ons, plus headwork and cams, and maybe a standalone engine computer.

The exact number is 177.9 hp NOT whp !!! It was something like 151whp !!! Dafuq... you go do some performance upgrades, dyno it , share the results and boom U LIE ?!?

Custom intake, PPim, headwork, 1.8 cam, 1.8 mani, 2.5 straight pipe, Apexi Neo... I don't see some magic here !

Post dyno sheets!!! (so we can see what kind of correction factors your dyno operator uses to make his customers happy )
