I have a hyundai coupe, europen version for tiburon, KDM speced engine with MAP not MAF . its a 1.6 beta1 .yes im sure,,its a beta.not alpha

but,,,what can i do with this engine..to increase hp??

swap to 1.8cam,CAI, +++++?

You can start with a cai, throttle body, lightweight pulleys, maybe someà ‚ headers.ÂÂ

I'm not sure about a 1.8 cam since you have a 1.6. Because the 1.8 cam is usually a mod for the 2.0 beta.

btw the engine code a 4G61, mitsubishi engine code in fact.. but it looks as same as the g4gf 2.0 beta1.. just the bore and stroke who are different

I dont think many of us know a whole lot about the 1.6 or more importantly, whats compatible. I would say any intake and exhaust mods would help greatly to start with. Otherwise chances are you can get a nice turbo setup where you are. I know out of the US the shops know about Hyundais and how to tune them.

but as i think and know. 1.6 are simlar to 1.8/2.0 execept the bore and stroke. + inlet manifold .. i have i CAI in the garage. waiting for summer before i mounting it. its winter here in norway from october to may .. so only 14" rims with wintertires ..
