Standard Castrol GTX is my choice of oil. I use the non high mileage version only.

I like either OEm or Wix filters personally.

My car is not modified except for LPG. Change oil manufacturers all the time (also with previous cars) like many friends and did not notice anything. Filter is usually Mann I think (or whatever is available). I do change the oil at "short" intervals compared to people around me though.
