I was gonna say what kit fox did. Tried jump starting it? that way you can atleast park it in your garage like you want. Starter is only used when cranking by the key.

Friend with pickup truck + real tow strap = your car @ home

You would really have to pull the intake manifold to get the starter from the top easily.

Ya i belive ya, not sure why it seems to be such a recommended thing if you google

get a friend to tow it would be best, but worst case have the driver dump it outside and push it in, its a light car.

I don't see why you couldn't jack it up and at least put a tester on it to make sure the starter is actually live when it should be.

Can you bypass your remote start system to make sure that didn't go out?

I bought the remote starter when i first bought the car like 5 years ago so didnt wire it up and not sure how extensively its wired into the car. Im assuming if i pull all the fuses for the remote starter it should disable anything its doing to the car right?

I don't think it's your starter, unless it's the wiring to it. Normally either the solenoid dies, or the starter motor dies, not both. You would either hear a whirring sound (motor turning with dead solenoid) or a clicking (solenoid pulling in with dead motor). I would double check the easy stuff first like the clutch switch (use a multimeter, the way a switch looks on the outside tells nothing about the contacts inside).

-I thought if the solenoid dies then when you try turning the key it doesn't make any sound, as in the starter doesn't engage, spin or do anything.
-For the clutch switch, im not sure on the correct terminology for it but what i checked was at the top of the clutch pedal where it goes into the firewall, theres a little yellowish disk that pushes in a push style switch when you push on the pedal, is this the clutch switch? all i really checked on it at the time was if the disk was in alright condition after reading a thread on it and the guys little pad looked like a busted doughnut

And as for push starting, i figured that would be the best way to get it into the garage but since its in a residential street its all iced and slick due to this cold front that moved it early in the week, im leaving out of town tomorrow morning till sunday evening and the weather suppose to be good nearly every day so im hoping i can get a buddy to help push start it then, stuck driving my old jeep, with nearly twice the gas mileage its not too exciting lol

You can reach the starter from above, but it's not easy. I can't remember if the driver's side was easierr or passenger, I'm guessing passenger side. Perform a reach around on the engine, it's about a foot under the intake manifold if I remember correctly. It's a pain in the ass, and even harder to get it back in there, but it's possible.

Depending on the complexity of the alarm/remote starter, pulling one fuse may not disable it (fail safe). You may have to pull multiple fuses. If it's just a remote starter (not alarm) then it may only have one. My Alarm/remote starter combo has 3 fuses; I have to pull at least two to disable it.

I don't think I've read anything to rule out alternator.
Have you tried jump starting it? Have you checked the battery's voltage level?

The only other thing starting related is the little rubber pad on the pedal that hits the clutch pedal switch. If it disintegrates, you'll have to push the switch by hand. If you have as much detritus floating around your floormats as I do, you might not notice the pieces of the pad until you look.
