You don't want to hook it up to another 30A fuse, as that would be overloading that one. You could easily blow it regularly that way.

To run the wire, just cut the fuse off the wire that they put on the kit, then remove the 2 bolts holding your accelerator cable firewall passthrough. When you've done that, run your wire through there, and get an IN LINE FUSE holder, and put a 30 amp fuse in it. After that, it's all easy, just run the wire to the positive section of your battery, and bolt the throttle cable firewall bolts back on.

Done.

The blue wire from the positive terminal is my power wire to my relay kit.

In this pic, you can see the top of the in line fuse holder I used.

It's a neat holder, and just screws in place on the wire and uses the old tube style fuses.

If you still need some current pictures that are clear (new camera), I'll go get em.

which means if someones got a spare set sell em to me fing02.gif

another thing, is there still only a click for the "auto down" on the drivers side button after installing the relay kit?

With these you "click" for auto down and up for both sides from the driver's side.

These are available at SFR here...

I install both (window and sunroof relay) Thank you for DIY.

My question is this, if I don't want the autoclose work for a special occasion, for example movie park there is a way to do or I should put an switch for door and to bad for sunroof?

Nice, where did you get the relays?

Well, you CAN put a switch in place for the sunroof, I just haven't done it yet, but if someone can tell me what wire to connect it to, I'll do it soon and post about it.

Other than that, you can leave your keys in the car and the car on ACC. I know that's not a great solution, but without knowing which wire to put a switch on, we are limited on options.

I took the relay from kspec.

Very good service despite the error in the order received but it is resolved quickly.

What is my understanding is that the power no longer go through normal way but only by the new relay then if it cut its power (red wire for windows relay) nothing works.

Ideally I would like to bypass the new relay. The key on ACC not work but the key on ON work fine.

I need to know it on the cable relay test to close the window or roof. Because knowing that I could me to distort the signal with a switch in a timely manner.

But I try to find out this weekend.

Since you actually had good service through Kspec, one out of a million, you might want to ask them if they can find out which wire you should put a switch on.

They did help me, after 8 months of asking, to figure out which wire to cut for the DIY in here.

I suppose that for windows is pin 1 circuit of the vehicle. I hmaservice basis for saying that. The pin 1 is hot at ON and it is 30 amp for this reason I use other way.

I add a boch relay on the red wire and put a switch on the relay.
I connect battery on pin 30 of relay and windows relay on pin 87a.
I connect fuse 10 amp on battery and connect that on my switch.
I connect other pin of my switch on pin 86
I connect ground on pin 85.
Not use pin 87.

In this way window relay is hot when my switch give no power.

Warning if you want put switch direcly on red wirer you need switch support 30 amp. It why I use relay.

I post for sunroof when I find.
