just make a convertible---> get rid of the roof!!! thats a few lbs..

Then your car will be weak (not stiff). With all of the extra support you have to use it will be heavier.

yah that would totally be a drag racing only mod and im sure the drag from the interior would take away from the benefits of the weight loss.

got a new one today.......


i was changing my intake set up (something i do pretty often) and had a little something in the way.


on the tran mount that bolts to the drivers side, theres a arm that originally held up your stock air box. well, obviousely most of us have no use for this. and at the time was in my way. so u busted out my die grinder, and in less then 3 minutes, no more bracket. tongue.gif

now keep in mind it doesnt weigh alot, but every little bit counts.

and also..... your VERY close to the clutch line, and brake lines. if you dont have a steady hand, i wouldnt try this.

My carbonfiber hood saved me a little more than 20lbs, i thought that was on the list though

our stock hood is hella light, i didnt even know it weighed 20 pounds total...
