Does anyone know if the way to remove the tailights on a 2001 tib is just but unscrewing the carpet cover in the trunk and pushing them out? Thanks.

There are lil flaps that cover the back of the lights. Push that up and it will reveal the bols holding it on. 4 on each side. Dont even mess with the carpet.

My little flaps had screws in them I'm pretty sure...take those off, then you'll see the bolts he's talking about. Assuming your installing new ones, make sure not to over-tighten the bolts when you put your new ones in. It's really easy to crack them. Happened to a friend of mine.
