LOL, I think this is the oldest DIY on the site. It really does not make sense to make your own CAI now. You can buy an AEM or INJEN clone on ebay for cheaper than all these materials would cost.

And honestly, it looked like SHIT. It was just dryer hosing that went down to the same place as the AEM.

Yes, but at the time it is all we had available to us. The the Injen and AOS came out. About a year later AEM, then ebay sellers copied them all.
