One last question, hopefully. On my intake, since it's metal would I still need to "rought it up"? I wouldn't think it'd make a whole lot of difference unless I use somethin pretty tough.

Google search painting preparation tips or similar.

90% of a good paint job is proper preparation.

Well, I had intended on doing my panels and stuff this week, since it was spring break, but typical Texas weather, it started pouring out of nowhere, and hasnt stopped raining let alone cleared up, but soon as it does I will be doin the painting, and will post pics. I did a practice run on my old intake from a car of mine that got totaled, did 2 coats of ground and 2 coats of green, turned out pretty sick, except for some parts because it's old and the stuff on there was caked on pretty good, scrubbed it with some heavy duty stuff for about 30 minutes, did nothin, but besides those spots, it looks sick. lookin forward to the actual project
