Hey. I was wondering if someone could do a DIY on how to remove the oil pan? I really only need to know how to get the 2 or 3 hidden bolts out. Thanks!

*edit: sorry i meant to put this in the DIY request section.*

um, I'm not planning on a full write up but you have to take off the center member to get at it. You might be able to with out it off but it's much harder.

Then it's just a ton of 10 mm bolts.

take off roll stop cross member, transmission brace, flywheel dust cover..

there are 19-10mm bolts.

when you reinstall. do NOT go over the torque specs on the 2 'hidden' bolts under ANY circumstance. and also don't go over the torque specs on the aluminum on the pass side of the engine. the rest you can increase torque if need be.

it takes torque, like man power.. not an impact gun.. get a gorilla bar or breaker bar and they will come loose.

+1 on the breaker bar, those things suck and i've taken that x-member out too many times.

after taking it off. put antiseize on the bolts, itll make it MUCH easier getting them off next time.
