1st get a st of side markers: (don't mind the korean) smile.gif Tools/supplies: Side markers File extra 12 guage wire red and black wire crimpers, and splice connectors Drill and drill bits screw driver to take off door panel: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...f/fb056d5e.jpg 2nd: Get a pice of thin plastic sheet and make a pattern of the side marker to scale and trace the outline onto the mirror: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...c/fb056d5c.jpg (Notice plastic pattern) 3rd: take a drill bit not too big and make holes inside the pattern, until it is all the way around the drawn out lines of the pattern. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...d/fb056d5b.jpg 4th: Should look a little like this: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...0/fb056d5a.jpg 5th: Take a file and file the rough chunks smooth till it is even around http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...6/fb056d59.jpg 6th: Insert Side markers into lamps: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...2/fb056d57.jpg make sure it is a snug fit, if not use silicone to seal it: Then run the wires in through the triangle door piece into the inner part of the door: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...f/fb056d55.jpg You will need to extend the wires with wire and run them inside the door by the hinge into the engine bay, till you find the TURN signal wires, and tap into the + and the -. |
