I dont have a DIY but its really easy if u have the right flange.
All ull need is a pair of snap ring pliers.
I beleive 1 ring is all mine came with and u just put the ssqv into the flange and the put the ring around it.
Its easy, do u have the right flange?

 

i believe i do. i just welded it onto the charge pipe. I heard you had to take the case off of the blow off valve in order to get the snap ring to get on. is this true? how would i go about doing this?

 

i dont think I had to do that? hmmm, not entirely sure i remember anything technical and involved w it. it shuld just be pretty basic.

i did forget in my last post, there should be an o-ring/gasket that u put in too.

 

ok cool. so, you put the o-ring in the flange. put the bov on top of the o-ring. then teh snap ring goes over the lip of the bov and it gets snapped into the groove in the flange. and thats it?

 

Again, its been a very long time, but I believe you've got it.
It's easy, I wouldn't worry about it at all. You'll be just fine, if it takes you more than 2 minutes, you've prob got the wrong flange. I bought my ssqv w the flange for it.
Once assembled, the ssqv should be able to rotate 360 degrees in the flange, but the snap ring should hold it in so it doesn't become detached.

with the SSQV you have to run a vacume line to the intake manifold. It's a pull type BoV so it requires vacume to work properly.

if my bov came with 3 snap ring clamps, do i need to use all three? they are each different sizes.
