<span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%"><span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%">I've done this alot lately and at the request of another member I am putting up a DIY guide. It's an easy procedure which because of the amount of metal you remove, looks complicated. It's really simple!

</span></span><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">You will need:</span>
breaker bar
ratchet
10mm socket
14mm socket
17mm socket
14mm box and open end wrench
17mm box and open end wrench

<span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">Replacing the mount:</span>
As in all DIYs under the car: Jack the car up, put it on jack stands.
1. The 14mm bolt and nut which go through the motor mount is the toughest to get to. Just get a good grip on it and turn the bolts with a breaker bar. The side motor mounts should be bearing the weight of the engine. The torque mounts should not be under any pressure.
2. Remove the 2 little bolts securing the splash guard to the brace
3. Remove the large 17mm bolts from the 4 corners of the engine brace.
4. Move the brace out of the vehicle so that you can work on it.
5. Remove the nuts and bolts from the bottom of the brace which secure the motor mount to the brace
6. If you are pressing in a new mount into the old housing, then do so, otherwise replace your new one with your old one.
7. Installation is the reverse of removal.

It's pretty self explanatory. Get under the car and look, you can't miss it. It's the big metal piece that runs lengthwise with the car. That's the part you want to pull out. There's only a handful of bolts and nuts in this DIY.

Here is the bolt locations and directions for removal.

<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%">
Enjoy your new motor mount.</span></span>
